We are changing the Twitaculous membership.
There will no longer be a free to use option, as unfortunately, we cannot afford to keep maintaining the site out of our own pockets.
Advertising on the site yields very little income as most people use an ad blocker or are simply not interested in the adverts. Very few people choose the VIP option to remove adverts which generates a little income and even less people choose to donate of their own volition.
Running the site costs us a lot of money every year - between the cost of the domain name and the cost of hosting and we risk losing the site if we can't keep up with those payments, and none of us (us as the owners and you as the users) want that to happen.
From now on, we will offer 2 paid for membership options - VIP and VIP+ - the main difference being that VIP+ members can also access Xmas Comps UK advent competition listings for free as part of their membership.
We're sure you will find it exceptionally good value still as we add around 2000 Twitter competitions every month - that's more the most other competition listing websites who also include competitions from various other places such as Facebook and Instagram too.
When we add competitions, it is a completely manual task and takes us many hours each and every day too.
We receive a lot of positive feedback from our members about their wins and how it makes it much easier and saves so much time finding competitions, so we hope you will find the site very good value.
Of course, we would prefer to keep the site free, but this is not currently a viable option, so we hope you will continue to support us by joining us as a VIP or VIP+ member.
